Join us for a 2 part interior repair focused course! We will cover both routine maintenance and what to inspect with a 100 year old home as well as what to do when an insurance claim might come into play with covering repair costs due to unexpected loss. PART 1 - Interior inspections & maintenance - when to inspect, what to look for, and why it is important. We will cover routine maintenance in the first part and larger scale repairs (including insurance coverage) in the second class. PART 2 - Interior construction repairs & insurance claims. What do you do when you notice issues during your routine maintenance. When should you call a contractor? Who should you call? How do you screen or know they will do a good job? Additionally, we will talk about larger scale repairs and issues that may involve filing an insurance claim. What does that process look like for interior repairs?
