Live from Ireland: Dublin Miscellany - ONLINE (Southwest)

Jillian is a life long enthusiast of mythology and fairy stories who appreciates a good tall tale. She lives in suburban Dublin, Ireland and works in Dublin City as an architect in the Civil Service. Jillian enjoys foreign travel, reading, cinema and walking her dog Bábóg in her spare time. Originally from County Meath, the Royal County, where ancient burial sites and the seat of the ancient high kings are located, she first enjoyed the classic legends (child-friendly versions) as a young child, while also exploring the real life historical ruins and tombs of the Meath landscape. Jillian’s presentation will include a mixture of legend and factual history, legendary characters and historical figures, and features of the Irish landscape where legendary characters are portrayed in the myths and stories of Ireland.
