One Love Yoga: LHL (K-1)

Yoga holds so many benefits and we are bursting with joy to share it with others. Through our Yoga in Schools program, we bring in certified yoga instructors to teach the founding principles of yoga to the most special people in our community, our kids. This class includes yoga, mindfulness, special breathing techniques, all wrapped up in fun, games and ongoing art projects.

To ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education is now offering fees on a sliding scale. We're moving to a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay or select the no-cost option. We have always offered partial and full scholarships upon request. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making these requests. When families participate as they are able, in all levels of our sliding scale, the whole program becomes self-sustaining.
